This song would be awesome

if it was even less coherent. You should remix it where there isnt even a tempo, it should just be like 6 minutes of random kick. I'm going to get the band to rap over this. By the way, you've been helpfull on youtube. - J

Solid.

Very solid, it could use some EQ'ing, but its pretty strong. Maybe throw some strings behind it in swells.

This is great

It reminds me of that Stabbing Westward track Drugstore.... you should throw a shit ton of aggressive chugging guits in there. I like that break down at 2:00. Well done.

Sounds good

That guitar sounds good as hell, but how would you do some really think crunchy chugs?

RyanChampion responds:

I use EastWest/Quantum Leap for the chords, it comes with a number of recorded chords with velocity sensitive and different recordings.

So if you just tap the key, it'd be a chug, if you hit it good, it's a full strum, and there's about 4 or 5 recording of each chord all together. It's a magnificent piece of software.

They also have a new program out, "Ministy of Rock". I'm looking at purchasing it soon, it sound ALOT better than this :)

Cheers :)

Well.

My face is melting, still.

Hating4AM responds:

Mine too dude, mine too...

Well fuck.

Good shit. I got nothin, real good shit.

Sounds good

Its nice to hear vocals on NG, there are very few of us. You guys recorded this in a studio, I take it? I like that subtle reverb you've got on them. You may apprecaite some of our shit as well.

Dominimous responds:

Thanks, yeah we recorded this in a small studio along with 3 other songs for about a grand. He records pretty much every band in the area that is serious. I'll check out some of you're guy's stuff.

Pretty good

You should be able to make that sound a lot better if you EQ the static out and whatnot. Sounds pretty good overall.

Wow.

So. You just took the original score, cut up the audio file and dropped a drum track into a couple of places? Amazing.

Pretty awesome.

Yeah, you can make that guitar sound a little more legit by using the damper and velocity knobs on the slayer frame, the sound is pretty solid with the combo, you should just layer a few more and detune them slightly to fatten them up. Nice blend of sound though. Good stuff.

WritersBlock responds:

Cheers, thanks for the review, and the tips. I'll keep that in mind.
